Is this Zane?

No, this is German Munoz — your insurance agent. I think there might be a mix-up, but I'm glad I caught you! How are you doing?

I've been well

That's awesome to hear! So your coverage is still humming along good, or is there anything we should update or talk about?

I don't know about that. We've had some issues.

I hear you — sorry to hear that. What's been going on with your coverage? Let me know what's not working and we can fix it.

We had a surgery that we would have waited if we would've known it wouldn't be covered until November. I guess because of the period from when we switched over. We asked the doctor they said it would be covered under our insurance so we had the procedure done that we get told by the insurance. It was pre-existing and not covered but if we'd have waited till November, it would've been covered, we didn't know that.

Man, I'm really sorry you're dealing with that — that's frustrating, especially when you did your due diligence with the doctor first. Pre-existing condition exclusions can be tricky, but November coverage timing is exactly what we should've walked through when you switched. That's on me to make sure you knew those specifics upfront. Do you want to go through your current plan together so we can make sure there aren't any other gaps like this going forward, and make a game plan for November when that exclusion lifts?

It's about a 20,000 or $40,000 deal
2026-08-13 21:56 · sms
Ouch — that's a real hit. I'm sorry you're carrying that. Before we talk next steps, I need to ask: did you get any written communication from the insurance company about the pre-existing exclusion *before* you had the surgery, or did they only tell you after?
